Investigadores do Instituto Português de Oncologia do Porto (IPO-Porto) exploraram a metilação do promotor de genes de recombinação homóloga do DNA (um dos sistemas de reparação do DNA) como biomarcador em tumores de células germinativas do testículo, especificamente para predizer a resposta ao tratamento com o inibidor da PARP Olaparib.
