AACR publishes «Cancer Progress Report 2014»

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) published the AACR Cancer Progress Report 2014 and the focus is on how scientists have made research count for patients. As the fourth report in this series, this year's Cancer Progress Report highlights the many advances and breakthroughs in cancer treatment and emphasizes the need for continued investment in cancer research.

According to the AACR, «amazing progress has been made against cancer because of the dedicated work of researchers throughout the biomedical research enterprise. These remarkable advances are contributing to the rise in the number of people who are surviving longer and living life to the fullest after their cancer diagnosis».
