Cátia Vaz. Sílvia Socorro

The research team of the Health Sciences Research Centre of the University of Beira Interior (CICS-UBI) led by Sílvia Socorro, together with other international researchers, has been publishing several studies aiming at clarifying the role of the calcium-binding protein Regucalcin (RGN) in the regulation of physiology (and pathophysiology) of various tissues and organs.

A equipa de investigação do Centro de investigação em Ciências da Saúde da Universidade da Beira Interior (CICS-UBI) liderada por Sílvia Socorro, assim como outros investigadores a nível internacional, tem vindo a publicar vários estudos no sentido de clarificar o papel da proteína de ligação ao cálcio, Regucalcina (RGN), na fisiologia (e patofisiologia) de diversos tecidos e órgãos.
