Eric Lander on the relevance to articulate the case for basic research

Quinta, 23.07.2015

Eric Lander, one of the main leaders of the Human Genome Project, is a Professor at MIT and has been appointed by President Barack Obama to co-chair the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Eric Lander recently gave a talk at a Gala Dinner of the National Math Festival. There he makes the case for basic research. It is worth reading for all of us!
